On October 9-10, 2025, we participated in the WODA.ŚCIEKI.OSADY.2025 conference, organized by the “Polish Waterworks” Chamber of Commerce. This is one of the most important events in the water and sewage industry in Poland, bringing together experts, practitioners, and sector leaders for years.
As in previous years, this year’s edition was held in conjunction with our long-time partner, Itron Poland. Traditionally, we meet in Zakopane, where, surrounded by the Tatra Mountains, we discuss the future of the industry and innovative solutions for the water and sewage industry.
The main theme of our participation was remote water meter reading and its role in the development of smart metering systems. Although this topic has been present at our conferences for a long time, each year we look at it from a different perspective—from technological aspects, through system integration, to practical implementations in water utilities. This proves that there is still much to discover in the field of remote reading.
Our two companies’ teams were represented among the speakers by Andrzej Musiał, Sales Manager at Itron Poland, who shared his experiences with remote reading system implementations. We thank all participants for visiting our booth, discussing the issues, and asking questions – every interaction is a valuable source of inspiration for us.
Our collaboration with Itron will soon find practical application in a new project in the Łubianka commune, which we described in a previous post. This is another step towards efficient and modern water network management.
